St Fagans is one of Europe’s leading open–air museums and Wales’s most popular heritage attraction. Winner of the 2019 UK Art Fund Museum of the Year.
The Museum offers a guidebook with clear site plans that also include several pictures and diagrams. They also have large scale site plans at different key points around the museum.
It has free disabled parking and is free admission to all. They offer wheel chair hire (on request) and have disabled toilets and changing facilities on site one of which has an electric bed and hoist to use too.
The majority of the museum is wheel chair accessible however due to the historic nature of some of the buildings wheelchair access is restricted.
They have a restaurant, cafe and tea room on site or plenty of space to have a picnic.
You can easily spend 3+ hours exploring history in this museum. They have plenty of outdoor space to run around, much to see and a playground to enjoy. The majority of buildings are staffed who are happy to help visitors learn and have an enjoyable visit.
