iPad workshop: Staying safe

Join the ‘Staying safe’ workshop to learn how to manage your child’s iPad, so they can learn and play safely.

In the workshop, we will cover:

• creating passcodes
• enabling screen time
• setting up time limits on apps
• adding restrictions to websites or other content
• downloading and using child friendly apps like YouTube Kids

We are holding this workshop online via Zoom. An experienced trainer and a member of staff from the Family Fund team will be there to support.

Please note:

• This is a friendly, informal workshop for parents and carers of disabled or seriously ill children and young people.
• You’ll need to have an iPad (or an iPhone) to take part in the workshop activities.
• To keep your iPad free to use during the workshop, you will need to join the Zoom call on another device, such as a smartphone or laptop.
