The Access Family Ambassadors Day Trip North Wales takes place on Sunday, 19th October 2025. Families with a disabled child or children are invited to join Piws for an inspiring day out at Xplore! Science Discovery Centre and the Welsh Mountain Zoo. This unique event combines fun with purpose – helping shape the future of accessibility across North Wales attractions.

Alongside enjoying a confidence-boosting family day, participants will share their lived experiences to help venues understand the barriers they face – and what needs to change.

Why We’re Asking for £10 Per Family
Although Piws has worked hard to make this trip free, we ask for a £10 payment per family.
When events are completely free, we often see last-minute cancellations, meaning valuable spaces go unused while other families miss out. This small payment helps us plan fairly, ensures every place is filled, and contributes towards travel or associated costs.
Who Can Join?
This trip is open to Access Family Ambassadors and their families.
Each family must commit to providing a short feedback report after the trip, helping to improve accessibility and inclusion at both venues and across North Wales.
