This year, we’re proud to be working alongside partners from across the country to support the Urdd in delivering a more accessible experience at the Urdd Eisteddfod 2026 (23–29 May).
Introducing the Piws SAFE SPACE
Throughout the week, visitors will be able to access the Piws SAFE SPACE – a calm, supportive environment designed for anyone who may need a break from the busy festival site.
Whether you are:
- experiencing sensory overload
- managing fatigue or a health condition
- navigating mobility challenges
- or simply in need of a quiet moment
You’ll find the SAFE SPACE located just after the main entrance (on your right), offering a place to:
- rest and reset
- feel supported
- share your experience
Why This Matters
In Wales, 1 in 4 families face accessibility challenges.
Creating inclusive spaces isn’t just important – it’s essential.
The Urdd is taking meaningful steps to:
- remove barriers
- listen to lived experiences
- improve accessibility for future events
And your voice plays a key role in that journey.
