The two beach wheelchairs have been funded through the Green recovery funding from the welsh government that was awarded to the Isle of Anglesey County Council and AONB team. Anglesey County Council purchased them with the aim of making Anglesey’s beaches accessible to everyone. The two chairs are one adult size and one child size. The chairs are on trail at Traeth Lligwy until the end of September. Anglesey County Council are hoping if the accessible beach wheelchairs have good feedback, they will be permanently available at Traeth Lligwy beach for next summer.
How to book the chairs:
To book the chairs, individuals should ask staff members at the Café in Lligwy and they will have the paperwork. Please note booking is on first come base.
