Pen Y Bryn Outdoor Learning CIC

Pen Y Bryn Outdoor Learning CIC is a not-for-profit social enterprise based in Eryri, the national park at the heart of North Wales. We are dedicated to breaking down barriers to accessing outdoor adventure. We offer a variety of activities tailored for individuals, families, schools, and groups, including climbing, hill walking, scrambling, kayaking, SUP, gorge walking, exploring mines and wild swimming.

Our mission is to provide opportunities for disadvantaged people to explore, learn about, connect with, and protect the natural world. Since 2022, we have facilitated free or low-cost adventures for over 300 participants, working with our local charity partners.

Our adventures are inclusive and our instructors have worked with SEND groups throughout their careers. We hold accreditations from the Health and Safety Executive (AALA), Mountain Training, the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award and Canoe Wales, underscoring our commitment to safety and quality in outdoor activites.

Our dedication to becoming a Net Zero organisation is reflected in our use of 100% renewable energy in our office and vehicles.
