The Bull, Beaumaris
Located in the Historical Town of Beaumaris, The Bull is a mixture of traditional charm in a Grade II Listed 500 year old Coaching Inn with contemporary style in its trendy boutique Townhouse. Visitors can enjoy a stylish seaside escape with 5 Star accommodation, award-winning food in the conservatory-style brasserie and a traditional log fire bar with hand drawn cask ales, seasonal cocktails and extensive gin menu.
“The Bull has been welcoming guests for over 500 years and while providing full access can be a challenge in listed buildings, we have put accessibility at the forefront when making improvements over the years to make our facilities available and accessible to all.”
David Robertson, Owner
The original timbers of The Bull were built in 1472 and it is evident when you step inside that this beautiful old building with its beams, staircases, uneven floors and ancient artefacts is steeped in history, and that providing full access would be a challenge. Changes where possible have been made and both The Townhouse and the Coach Restaurant were developed with access as a priority. There is now one fully accessible bedroom, easy access to the restaurant and accessible toilets. The Bull also recognises that empowering staff to provide a warm welcome to all visitors is important but this can be difficult to manage and oversee during the hectic summer season in a busy seaside resort.
Customers with accessibility issues are encouraged to feedback their comments via the PIWS website. This will ensure The Bull can keep striving to make improvements to continue to provide a warm Welsh Welcome to everyone.
