The accessible wheelchairs have been funded through Green Recovery funding from Welsh Government that was awarded to the Isle of Anglesey County Council’s Countryside and AONB team.
Anglesey county council has purchased them with the aim of making Anglesey’s Beaches accessible to everyone.
The chairs are currently at Traeth Lligwy on a Trial bases until the end of September and then (hopefully) permanently at Lligwy for next summer.
To book the chairs, individuals should ask staff members at the Café in Lligwy and they will have the paperwork.
There are two chairs presently (one for adults and one for children) and they are on a first come first serve bases.
