Wales Federation of Young Farmers Clubs
Wales Federation of Young Farmers Clubs: Committed to Accessibility and Inclusion
The Wales Federation of Young Farmers Clubs is a voluntary youth organisation that operates bilingually across rural Wales. With over 5,000 members aged 10 to 28, our network includes 138 YFC clubs and twelve County Federations.
As part of our commitment to making all activities accessible and inclusive, we’ve recently trained Carys Storer Jones as our Accessibility Champion. Carys is now sharing her knowledge with fellow staff and volunteers, helping us embed accessibility into everything we do.
In partnership with Piws, we’re also proud to support young disabled adults in becoming Access Ambassadors. This helps ensure we are making the right decisions—so that everyone can feel confident and welcome at our events and clubs.
If you have accessibility needs and would like to get involved, we’d love to hear from you. Please contact Carys at: Carys@yfc-wales.org.uk
Together, we can make a real difference.
