Located on the wharfside of Porthmadog’s picturesque harbour, the Canolfan Gelfyddydau Porthmadog Arts Centre — better known to its patrons simply as The Ganolfan — serves as a focal point and community centre for the local population. Since its opening in 1975, it has been used as a venue to host events of all kinds, including concerts, parties, sporting events including televised wrestling, exhibitions, arts and crafts fairs and much more besides.
