Ynys Mon Gymnastics Club

Ynys mon gymnastics is a local club that is  located in Holyhead. It’s run by head coach Catherine.  Ynys mon gymnastics offers what they call ‘for all’ this means any ability is welcome to their gymnastics sessions.  They run sessions through out the week at different times for different ages groups.  They also offer once a month ‘Inclusive’ sessions and weekly ones during school holidays, this is aimed for people with autism, adhd, learning disabilities and visual impaired.  They  are really accommodating to the sessions, if you don’t want to take part it is okay and you can still do ‘free play’ in the background. The inclusive sessions are calm with no music in the background. It is also free for carers/[parents. The staff are all polite people with a lovely caring nature. The staff also do know some Makaton and are hoping to learn more in time. The staff are also aware of the sunflower lanyards. They also offer a small quiet area for you to go if it is too overwhelming. They have toilets are the gymnastics centre, but they are narrow so it maybe hard for wheelchair access. Parking is right out side the centre with lots of disabled bays.
